The League
The Worcestershire Pauper League was founded in 2026 to bring competitive Pauper Magic to Worcester. We're affiliated with the UK Pauper League, connecting our players to a national network of Pauper communities and giving them a pathway to UK Pauper Nationals.
Whether you're a seasoned Pauper player or completely new to the format, you're welcome here. Pauper is one of the most affordable ways to play competitive Magic, and we're committed to growing a friendly, inclusive community.

- Our players get early access to UK Pauper Nationals tickets
- Top performers may earn byes at Nationals
- We're connected to the wider UK Pauper community
New to Pauper?
Pauper is a fantastic format for new and returning players:
- Affordable: Build a competitive deck for £20-50
- Deep gameplay: Don't let the "commons only" fool you – Pauper has a rich metagame
- Accessible: Many cards you might already own are Pauper legal
- Community: Join a welcoming group of players
We'll have loaner decks available for anyone who wants to try the format before committing to building their own deck. Just ask in the WhatsApp group!
